I was initially pleased with the quality and speed of the scans, and the fact that the scan could be saved on a flash card or directly into the computer. I was concerned that the preview window did not show the entire image, but discounted that as just being a small window. I was slow to realize - it took me a hundred of scans - that the scan also did not include all of the image. The scan only includes the central two thirds of the image! There was no adjustment that could be made.
I wrote to the vendor and asked if this was standard for this scanner or if my item was defective. I received no answer.
No place in the advertisements or the very sparse literature that accompanied the item, was there any indication of the maufacturer or an actual name for this particular item. This should have been a clue to me before I bought it.
I returned it to the vendor, and to their credit, they promptly credited my charge card for the purchase. |
